Bishop's Stortford Badminton Club prides itself on being a friendly club that caters to intermediate and above level badminton players. The club creates a competitive yet relaxed atmosphere where players can enjoy their game. Nestled in the Birchwood High School in Bishop's Stortford, our home venue is the Birchwood Sports Centre. Here, on Monday evenings from 8:00 p.
m. to 10:00 p. m. Club members and invited guests have access to four purpose-built badminton courts.
During the league season, the club also plays on Wednesday evenings at Birchwood Sports Centre to fulfil home league matches. With our strategic location near the M11, A120, and A10 road links, we field numerous mixed, men's, and women's teams across the Hertfordshire County, Hertford Area, and Braintree Area leagues. This geographical advantage allows us to maximise our participation and represent our club in various competitions.
At Bishop's Stortford Badminton Club, we prioritise the use of feather shuttles for both club play and matches. Feather shuttles offer a balance between quality and durability, suitable for a wide range of playing standards. We strive to provide our members with the best playing experience possible.
In terms of policies, the club has established a set of rules and procedures to ensure fair play and sportsmanship. We have in place a selection procedure, child welfare policy, anti-bullying policy, and player code of conduct. These policies create a safe and inclusive environment for all members.
Our club nights schedule consists of Monday nights as club nights from 8:00 p. m. to 10:00 p. m.

The club has seen significant growth and development over the years, and it is now a well-established club with a strong presence in Bishop's Stortford.
