Established in 1969, the club has a rich history and a strong tradition of supporting football at all levels. With over 300 members and more than 20 teams registered to the Midlands Schoolboys League (MSL) and Combined Counties Football League (CCFL), Birr Town AFC is a prominent presence in the local football community.
The club caters to both boys and girls, with many underage teams providing opportunities for young players to develop their skills and passion for the game. In addition to the youth teams, Birr Town also boasts three senior teams that compete in various leagues and competitions.
Located at Frank O'Connell Park, the club's facilities include two full-sized pitches, an all-weather floodlight pitch, and a clubhouse. Training sessions take place throughout the week, with access to St Brendan's Community School all-weather pitch for additional practise.
