For beginners, joining is easy. Simply add your name to the waitlist, and they will contact you when a spot becomes available. For experienced gymnasts, they encourage you to contact them directly to arrange a trial.
Birkenhead Gymnastics Academy is a not-for-profit organisation. Their dedicated coaches are all volunteers who generously give their time and experience because they love Acrobatic Gymnastics. Their mission is to develop children's confidence and ability, enabling them to reach their full potential.
The academy offers a range of classes tailored to different age groups and skill levels. Early Years classes, for children aged from walking, are run by experienced Pre School coaches in a semi-structured and enjoyable environment. Pre School Independent classes allow children to attend independently while parents watch, helping develop physical skills in a friendly environment. Recreational classes cater to boys and girls aged 4 and up, with fully qualified British Gymnastics Coaches guiding them to develop basic gymnastic skills, strength, flexibility, coordination, and confidence.
Gymnasts in these classes work towards earning their British Gymnastics Proficiency Awards at their own pace.
Birkenhead Gymnastics Academy provides a detailed weekly timetable to accommodate all their classes. From recreational classes to senior competition squads, they have something for everyone. They also offer School Gymnastics classes, perfect for those looking to introduce gymnastics into their curriculum.
