BSASA offers both adult and junior memberships. With a goal to reach 100 members in 2023, the club has reduced the cost of membership to $30 for adults and $10 for juniors. Membership provides access to a range of benefits, including the ability to participate in Association-sanctioned events. In 2023, there are 16 scheduled events, such as the State Snooker, State Billiards, Women's State Snooker, Junior State Titles, and The Ian Chappell Invitational.
Even for those not planning to participate in events, becoming a member is encouraged as it helps support the development of billiards and snooker in South Australia. Additionally, the new committee has made several financial commitments, including providing support for coaching junior players and assisting SA players in attending the National Junior titles. Another objective is to increase the number of qualified referees and coaches in the state.
Membership forms are available at the front desk of Snooker SA. Individuals are encouraged to join when they next visit the venue and also invite their friends to become members. By building a strong membership base, the BSASA aims to create a robust and vibrant association that benefits the community as a whole.
For further updates, news, and resources, individuals can visit the Snooker SA website at http://snookersa. au/. The website provides a hub for information about the club, upcoming events, and other relevant resources.
