About
The “Big White Mountain Cabin” is an authentic Canadian chalet located in the Village Centre of Big White Ski Resort in Beaverdell, British Columbia, Canada. The cabin, originally constructed in 1967, offers a unique post and beam structure and was one of the first cabins built on Big White Mountain. In 2012, the cabin was renovated to include modern conveniences while preserving its historical charm.
Set on three quarters of an acre, the Hill Family Mountain Home is tucked away in the trees, providing a private and peaceful retreat just minutes away from the bustling centre of Big White Ski Village. The location of the cabin is highly desirable, with easy ski in (excellent conditions) and ski out (moderate conditions) access via the Bullet Chair.
The cabin is divided into two self-contained apartments, each with its own entrance, making it ideal for extended families, two families vacationing together, or families travelling with a nanny. The cabin comfortably sleeps 8 guests, with additional children permitted with permission from the owner.
Guests staying at the “Big White Mountain Cabin” can enjoy the cozy atmosphere of the wood-burning fireplaces, unique antler decor, and even have access to snowshoes for exploring the beautiful snowy surroundings. Whether guests are looking for a peaceful mountain retreat or quick access to the slopes, the cabin offers the best of both worlds in a stunning alpine setting.
