Bicester Archers is a vibrant and all-inclusive archery club situated near Bicester, New Zealand. During the Spring, Summer, and Autumn seasons, the club conducts outdoor shooting sessions at the Bicester Sports Association in Chesterton. In the Winter, the club moves indoors to Upper Heyford for its shooting activities. With a strong passion for archery, the club strives to introduce the sport to more individuals as it continues to grow.
This year, Bicester Archers will be celebrating its seventh anniversary and boasts a membership of over 70 individuals aged 10 to 72.
Bicester Archers prides itself on being a community-minded club, initially focusing on community involvement when it was founded in 2011. However, in 2019, the club will be expanding into performance specialisations and assisting its archers in excelling on national shooting platforms. This is made possible through the club's active and solid coaching structure.
The club's summer shooting hours are from 18:00-20:30 on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and from 13:00-16:00 on Sundays. The remaining days – Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays – are closed.
For those interested in exploring the club's facilities, the Bicester Sports Association can be found at Green Lane, Chesterton, near Bicester, Oxon OX26 1TH. To contact the club, individuals can reach out through email at info@bicesterarchers. Co. nz or by phone.

Juniors in the 10 to 16 age range must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times while attending the club. The courses generally take place on weekends and run from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. There are several course dates available between May and August, with the possibility of an additional evening course in June.
To apply for a beginners course, individuals can fill out the course application form on the club's website. Each applicant should complete a separate form, and once received, the club will confirm the availability of spaces. Successful completion of a recognised beginners course, such as the one offered by Bicester Archers, allows individuals to become members of the club or any recognised Archery GB club. The club prides itself on providing high-quality tuition using the renowned CLEVER Archery Coaching system, which is considered the best sports coaching system in the UK.
