Luke's opened its Community Centre, which has since become a vital hub for social, cultural, recreational, and health programs that benefit the wider community.
One of the programs offered at St. Luke's Community Centre is the Bharatham Academy of Indian Dance. This acclaimed dance school has been operating in the GTA for 25 years, offering classes in Indian classical dance for children, adults, seniors, and those with special needs. Students at Bharatham Academy will learn bharathanatyam, yoga, stretches, folk dances, and theory as part of their curriculum, fostering personal growth and self-confidence.
Whether you are new to dance or have years of experience, the Bharatham Academy of Indian Dance welcomes students of all levels of expertise to join their classes. With a holistic approach to learning, students will not only develop their dance skills but also enhance their self-esteem, self-belief, and self-confidence.
