The Berrima District Aero Club is a sports club located in the Wingecarribee Shire Council in the Southern Highlands of New South Wales, Australia. The club operates from the historic Mittagong Airfield, which was originally constructed by the Royal Australian Airforce in 1944 for defensive purposes.
The airfield is situated on Old South Road, just before the Renwick turnoff when heading south. It is conveniently located near the Landcom Renwick Housing Estate, and the club encourages its members and visitors to fly in a neighbourly manner.
The Mittagong Airfield, although unlicensed, serves the aviation needs of the Southern Highlands region. It has an elevation of 1840 ft and a length of 1200 metres. The airfield's coordinates are S34 26. 9 E150 30.

The airfield features both gravel and 8m wide sealed runways, with runway 24 and 06 being the preferred takeoff and landing directions. Fuel in the form of Avgas is available for members, and ultralights are allowed to operate to the east of the strip. There is a landing fee of $10. 00 payable at the clubhouse.
Visitors are most welcome, but contacting the club for prior permission (PPR) is recommended.
The Berrima District Aero Club offers a range of facilities and services. The clubhouse provides general parking, and there are passenger facilities available. It is important to note that taking off on runway 24 is not recommended when there is a headwind below 5 kt. Wind shear areas increase with wind speed, and it is advised to avoid takeoff above 80% of the maximum takeoff weight or above 30 degrees Celsius.
Similarly, on runway 06, a downwind component of up to 5-7kts may exist above 50ft AGL when the surface wind is below 3-5kts.
The club's website provides links to other relevant sites such as the Bureau of Meteorology for aviation weather information, the Southern Highlands Air League, and resources from the Civil Aviation Safety Authority. The club has different membership options, including flying membership for pilots based at the field, and non-flying membership for individuals who own aircraft but do not operate them from the field. Membership fees and renewal are due on the 1st of March each year, with a probation period of one year for all new members.
For individuals interested in purchasing hangars, a transfer fee applies. The club encourages participation in its activities and offers a welcoming environment for aviation enthusiasts in the Southern Highlands area.
