Bengal Traditional Taekwondo Association

Established in 1997, the Bengal Traditional Taekwondo Association (BTTA) in Chandannagar has been a cornerstone for Taekwondo enthusiasts across Bengal. Under the expert guidance of Grandmaster Mr. Sumit Ghosh, an 8th Dan Black Belt, the association has blossomed into a nurturing haven for nearly 2000 practitioners, including 80 Black Belts. Affiliated with 13 sports bodies, BTTA offers a robust platform for students to engage in an enriching Taekwondo journey marked by discipline, respect, and community spirit.

Annually, it hosts district and state-level championships, in addition to a prestigious open national championship attracting 600 to 800 participants from across India.
