David, your club organiser, invites you all to come and experience the joy of Bellingham Bowling Club in Catford, South East London. 🌿 Founded back in 1912, it's a spot that’s known for welcoming bowlers of every age and skill level. With two greens and a large car park, the club offers fantastic views of some of London’s famous landmarks.
David’s pretty chuffed that Bellingham Bowling Club is the only club in the area offering both outdoor greens and winter short mat bowls. This means you can enjoy the sport throughout the year. Whether you’re an experienced bowler or just fancy giving it a go for the first time, the club’s got free coaching and discount memberships for beginners.
David and the team are keen to show newcomers the ropes. Outdoor bowling runs from April to October with informal and organised sessions on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays at 2:30 pm. Need some practice? The club’s open all week for solo or group sessions. If indoor bowls is more your thing, try short mat bowling from October to April with sessions on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays at 1:30 pm, plus Mondays at 7:00 pm. Just bring flat shoes—they’ve got the bowls covered. 👟
Beyond bowls, there’s a buzzing social calendar and a well-stocked bar for you to enjoy. From events to chill gatherings, there's plenty to keep you entertained. There’s also a function room with a fully fitted kitchen available for rental.
