Believe Equine Coaching + Training, located in Royalla, is an equestrian club that focuses on the holistic well-being of individuals through the connexion between horses and humans. Founded by Lisa, who embarked on a journey of self-care and healing, the club offers workshops, training sessions, and retreats that nurture mental health, self-development, and mindset.
Lisa's personal experience with anxiety, stress, and grief led her to discover the profound connexion between horses and humans and the valuable lessons they can teach us about ourselves. As a Horse Trainer and Equine Assisted Coach, Lisa shares her insight, knowledge, and experience with participants, both human and equine, aiming to create a balance in their lives.
In addition to her qualifications as a Horse Trainer and Equine Assisted Coach, Lisa is also an accredited Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) practitioner, Holistic Coach, and Counsellor. She utilises various tools and methodologies such as Equine Assisted Learning, the ADESSO Wellbeing tool, NLP, Prosic Change Management, yoga, and meditation to encourage and empower individuals to find their own life balance.
The Believe team is made up of passionate individuals who share Lisa's vision and values. Sandra, as the resident Believe Baker and Cook, brings delicious, heartwarming treats and dishes to the table. With a career in the private sector and as a mother of two active teenagers, Sandra enjoys being around people and horses. Jennifer, with a background in Occupational Therapy, mental health, rehabilitation, and aged-care, appreciates the opportunity to “smell the horses” and has completed Equine Assisted Learning courses.
Colleen, who initially explored Equine Assisted Learning in the Believe Equine Pilot programme, finds these magnificent animals to be both rewarding and challenging. As a Reiki Practitioner and with a nursing background, Tracey shares a mutual love for horses and values the self-development and learning opportunities that come with spending time with the herd.
