Bel-Air Cricket Club

Robert Thurling officially registered the Bel-Air Cricket Club in 1963. The inaugural games took place at Carleton University's cricket ground. While the club faced financial difficulties initially, it managed to persevere through a combination of match fees and donations.

In 1964, Captain Rufus McCommons' team claimed the first championship title.

Over the decades, the club has experienced numerous challenges but has continued to thrive and expand.
