Beginners Course

Bowmen of Minchinhampton is passionate about introducing the art of archery to beginners in Stonehouse. The Beginners Course in archery is a fantastic opportunity to learn the ropes and have some fun on the weekends in September. The course is designed for participants aged 8 and above, so if you're keen on picking up a new skill, this is the perfect chance to do so.

The sessions kick off bright and early at 8.30am on the first Saturday of the month. Whether you've never touched a bow before or have some experience under your belt, the course will cover all the basics and provide you with the necessary equipment. And don't worry if you're not the most athletic person – archery is a sport that welcomes everyone, regardless of their fitness level.

By the end of the course, you'll have a good grasp of archery fundamentals and can decide if you want to pursue the sport further. If you're looking to join a target archery club in the UK, this is the first step you need to take. And if you've already completed the course elsewhere, just bring along your certificates and membership cards for verification.
