Join Tai Chi Chuan High Peak, a local Mixed Martial Arts club, for beginner Tai Chi classes. They're all about providing a top-notch learning experience for students at every level. Whether you're a beginner or have some experience under your belt, they'll make sure you feel right at home.
Here's the deal: the club operates in 4 terms per year, with classes running year-round (except during Christmas and Bank Holidays). But before you commit to a full term, why not dip your toes in the water with 4 consecutive taster lessons? These taster lessons range from £20 to £40, depending on the venue. No strings attached – if Tai Chi isn't quite your cup of tea after the taster sessions, there's no obligation to continue or pay for the rest of the term.
If you do decide to continue, you'll pay for the remaining weeks of the term in one go. Just keep in mind that drop-in sessions aren't available, so make sure to book in advance. Oh, and don't forget about the annual membership fee of £16, which runs from 1st October to 30th September. Cash or bank transfer is the way to go for payments – credit/debit cards won't fly.
In these classes, you'll dive into the Hand Form, a series of movements that flow seamlessly together. It's the trickiest part, as it requires coordination between your hands and feet. But fear not, with a little patience and perseverance, you'll make progress in no time.
Tai Chi Chuan High Peak is now accepting new students for classes in 2024. But don't snooze on it – spots fill up fast, so pre-booking is a must. Check out the provided dates and costs for the next beginner class intake. They offer various venues and time slots throughout the week to cater to your schedule. Simply get in touch with the club to register for the 4 taster sessions.
And remember, if you have any health concerns, it's always best to consult your GP or doctor before jumping into the classes. Also, make sure to give the school's terms & conditions and disclaimer a read and agree to them before getting into the Tai Chi groove.
As classes resume, Tai Chi Chuan High Peak puts the health and wellbeing of their students first. Stick to the safety guidelines and make your decision to attend at your own discretion. It's all about enjoying the practice while staying safe and sound. So, lace up those shoes and get ready to embrace the beauty of Tai Chi!
