Bay Skate offers three different sets of beginner roller skate lessons every Monday. These lessons are designed to help aspiring roller skaters start their journey with confidence and skill. Led by Tiff, these smaller group lessons provide a more personal and focused learning experience compared to the Learn to Skate sessions on Sundays.
During the beginner classes, participants will learn important foundational elements such as balance, control, and a technique called duck feet. These fundamental skills will lay the groundwork for further progression and exploration in the world of roller skating. Whether you're completely new to skating or looking to enhance your skills for roller derby, these classes are the perfect opportunity to receive extra training and improve your abilities.
To make the most of your lesson, it's recommended to arrive at least 15 minutes earlier than the scheduled start time. This will allow you enough time to gear up and ensure your safety throughout the session. Please bear in mind that these classes last for 30 minutes only, so every moment counts! Don't worry, though – with Tiff's guidance, you'll be able to maximise your learning experience in this limited time.
So, if you're eager to learn roller skating or simply want to refine your skills, join Bay Skate's beginner roller skate lessons. Discover the joy of gliding on wheels and embrace the exciting world of roller sports. Lace up your skates, take the plunge, and let Bay Skate help you become a confident roller skater.
