The passionate and highly qualified teachers at BE. Dance are committed to inspiring and motivating their students. They believe that dance is not only a way to develop rhythm, coordination, and performance skills, but also a means of boosting confidence and maintaining fitness levels. With a focus on commercial dance styles, BE.
Dance draws influences from genres such as musical theatre, jazz, street dance, tap, ballet, and lyrical dance. This unique approach to choreography ensures that students are exposed to a diverse range of dance techniques and styles.
Each year, BE. Dance hosts a summer dance show, providing students with the opportunity to showcase what they have learned and experience performing on a professional stage. This event is a highlight for both students and parents, with costumes, lighting, and a videographer creating a truly memorable experience.
Founder and Director, Becca Carter, brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the school. Trained in Musical Theatre at the Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts, Becca has worked as a dancer and 'face' at Disneyland Paris, appeared in pantomimes, West End variety shows, and commercials, as well as choreographed for Channel 4. With twenty years of teaching experience in Street Jazz, Tap, and Musical Theatre, Becca has worked with students of all ages and levels, from beginners to professionals. Becca has also taught at the Royal Academy of Dance and has participated in their workshops and summer schools across the UK and internationally.
Becca's extensive background in teaching, performance, and choreography has provided her with the insight and expertise necessary to successfully manage BE. Dance. Her dedication to her students and understanding of their needs, as well as her commitment to providing a supportive and inspiring learning environment, sets BE. Dance apart as a leading dance school in South West London.
