Beckenham & Stanhope Bowling Club is excited to welcome you to their open days for the 2024 outdoors lawn bowls season. Held on the 1st Monday of each month from May to September, these open days are a perfect opportunity to dip your toes into the world of lawn bowls. And the best part? Entry is free! No matter if you're a seasoned pro or a complete beginner, everyone aged 18 to 88 is invited to come along and give the sport a go. The club will provide all the equipment you need, and their Bowls England qualified coaches and experienced players will be on hand to offer guidance and support to help you get started. Just make sure to wear flat-soled shoes to protect the green, and enjoy some refreshments while you're at it. Located in Croydon Road Recreation Ground, Beckenham, near St Edmunds Church, right next to the basketball court, there's no shortage of on-street parking in Village Way or Sainsburys car park.
