Bebington Archers

Bebington Archers, established in 1968 and affiliated with GNAS, is a welcoming and friendly archery club located in Birkenhead, New Zealand. The club caters to individuals of all ages and skill levels, from complete beginners to seasoned competition archers. Members of the club participate in various archery disciplines, including recurve, compound, barebow, and longbow.

Bebington Archers takes pride in its large junior section, providing a nurturing environment for young archers to hone their skills and develop their passion for the sport. As Bebington Archers aims to foster a supportive community, children under the age of 10 are no longer accepted on courses. Children between the ages of 10 and 12 may join a course if their parent or guardian also participates, as their continued membership is contingent on their parent or guardian's involvement in the sport. For juniors between the ages of 13 and 16, a parent or guardian must be present during all club activities.

For those interested in participating in competitions, Bebington Archers hosts an annual open tournament. This tournament provides an opportunity for archers to test their skills and compete against other experienced individuals. The club also prides itself on its achievements, with one of its archers earning a bronze medal at the European Youth Championship in Bucharest in July 2022.
