Beaudoin Todokai Canada offers a unique opportunity to learn and train in the traditional art of Shotokan Karate. Under the leadership of Sensei Denis Beaudoin, a 7th Dan black belt and Shihan-Shidoin, students have the chance to learn from a renowned instructor with a passion for passing on the traditions and values of karate. Sensei Denis Beaudoin was a student of the late Sensei Toru Yamaguchi, a 9th Dan master, and continues to honour his teachings through the Beaudoin Todokai Canada Japan Shotokan Karat-Do Association.
The club provides a range of resources for its members, including video series like “The Shotokan Karate Guide” and podcasts featuring Sensei Denis Beaudoin discussing various aspects of karate and its application in daily life. Students have the opportunity to delve deeper into the art and philosophy of karate, gaining valuable insights from Sensei Beaudoin's experiences and teachings.
Located in Gatineau, Quebec, Beaudoin Karat Gatineau serves as the central dojo for Beaudoin Todokai Canada. The dojo was inaugurated on March 16, 2005, by Sensei Toru Yamaguchi himself, marking the beginning of a dedicated space for students to learn and grow in their karate practice.
Beaudoin Todokai Canada is a registered trademark recognized by the Canadian government and is also acknowledged by Karat Canada as a National Association of Shotokan style.
