Hey everyone,
Angus Neilson here, inviting you to join the sports community at BBD Scotland Martial Arts in Edinburgh. We specialise in traditional Ninjutsu, offering a unique training experience suited for all levels.
Our dojo is fully equipped and matted, providing a safe and focused environment. Classes run on Wednesday evenings from 6.30 pm to 8.30 pm. If you're curious or want to give it a go, feel free to drop by for a free trial class or get in touch for more info.
We know starting something new can be a bit daunting, so we've put together an FAQ section on our website to help with any questions you might have. And if you still have questions, don't hesitate to reach out. We're happy to chat about how we can help you get the most from your training.
At BBD Scotland, our instructors, led by Angus who has over 25 years of experience and holds a 4th Dan Black Belt, are highly skilled and ready to pass on their knowledge. Our team has been training for decades, so you’ll be in good hands.
Ninjutsu is for everyone, but if you have any specific concerns, let us know. We welcome children from 14 onwards as long as a parent or guardian accompanies them.
Training with us will boost your fitness and equip you with valuable skills. For your first class, wear comfy trousers and a t-shirt. As you progress, you can get a black Keikogi, which is what most of our students wear.
We follow a grading system with 9 Kyu grades leading up to the 1st Dan Black Belt. Your progress is closely monitored, and gradings are free of charge. Throughout the year, we also host various courses, including sessions with Chief Instructor Brian McCarthy and outdoor training events.
You’ll find us at Room B1.06 in St Margaret's House, 151 London Road, Edinburgh, EH7 6AE, right next to the Registers of Scotland.
BBD Scotland is part of a larger network, with dojos across Europe. So not only will you be training locally, but you'll also be part of a wider international community.
Angus is looking forward to seeing you at BBD Scotland Martial Arts – let's embark on this martial arts journey together.
Cheers!
