The Washlands Sports Club in Burton-on-Trent will be the backdrop for the upcoming BBA Open Western, organised by Burton Bridge Archers. This exciting archery tournament, scheduled for the 23rd of June 2024 (or possibly the 30th of June 2024), is open to all Archery GB members eager to show off their skills.
Starting at 10.00am with registration and 11.00am with sighters, the event will feature a Western round for senior archers aged 18 and above. Participants can choose to compete in Western rounds or Western 50/40/30 rounds, with the starting distance determined at entry. Juniors will have their own fun, shooting at specific distances based on their age for a chance to win trophies or medals.
All archers must be affiliated with Archery GB or a World Archery member association, and may need to provide proof during registration. AGB dress regulations will be enforced, and remember, no carbon arrows allowed at this venue. Parents or guardians must grant consent for their children's participation, and photographers must register in advance to comply with competition policies.
The tournament will be held at Burton Bridge Archers, located at The Washlands Sports Club on Meadow Road.
