Bay Sea School is proud to own the Jeanneau Sun 2000 yacht, which is a safe and sturdy small yacht made of fibreglass. This yacht features a centerboard type swing keel and lifting rudder, making it perfect for Morecambe Bay where the boat can sit down on the sand when the tide goes out.
The school takes pride in sharing success stories from their satisfied customers. One such story features Martin, who purchased a nearly new Viko 21 keelboat after completing his Level 3 sailing course. Martin enlisted the expertise of John Parlane to ensure that everything was set up correctly on his new boat. Together, they addressed various tasks, including adjusting the mast and rigging, controlling the kicker from the cockpit, and fitting a backstay tensioner.
The day concluded with a short sail, leaving Martin a happy and confident sailor.

Despite last-minute crew cancellations, Deirdre Ward stepped in to assist Bob on his journey. They planned a route that would take advantage of fair winds by utilising the Crinan Canal. The adventure involved stops at Tarbert, Ardrishaig, and Islay's main harbour, ultimately leading to Campbelltown.
Despite some challenges along the way, Bob and Deirdre successfully completed the journey and enjoyed a well-deserved meal at a renowned hotel.
