Owner and Head Coach, Eli Baylis, works closely with Tennis Australia and Tennis NSW to bring the latest techniques and training methods to all players. With over 20 years of coaching experience, Eli has been running a highly successful coaching business since 2004.

Baylis Tennis Academy offers a range of coaching programmes tailored to different age groups and skill levels. From group lessons for children as young as four years old to squad lessons for more advanced tournament players, there is something for everyone. Private lessons are also available for those seeking personalised attention and improvement. Additionally, the academy organises school holiday tennis and multi-sports clinics, Friday night junior and adult competitions, and adult group lessons.

Eli Baylis, the Head Coach of Baylis Tennis Academy, is a local who grew up on the Coffs Coast, and his passion for tennis shines through in his coaching. As an Advanced Tennis Australia Club Professional Coach, Eli actively supports and organises local tournaments, as well as those within the North East Region of NSW. His dedication to getting more players on the tennis court is evident in his coaching and tournament involvement. Being a father of four, Eli understands the needs of young players and strives to create an enjoyable and enthusiastic environment for them to flourish in.

Recognised for his contributions to tennis coaching, Eli has received several accolades, including the Inaugural North East Tennis Coach of the Year in 2008. He was also nominated by Tennis NSW for the Tennis Australia Coaching Excellence Club Professional Award in 2012 and was a nominee for Coffs Harbour City Council Sportsperson of the Year in the same year. Moreover, Eli has coached Australian ranked players, showcasing his ability to develop talent and foster growth in his students.
