Bayford & Hertford Nondescripts Cricket Club prides itself on providing cricket at low costs, with an annual subscription fee of just 20 and match fees being completely free. Although the club does not have a dedicated junior section, they do offer coaching and practise facilities for children, thanks to their two ECB Level 2 qualified coaches.
The club not only focuses on cricket, but also hosts several well-attended social functions throughout the year, which are a great opportunity for players, their families, and friends to come together and enjoy the camaraderie. The ethos of the club is to play the game in the right spirit and to have fun while doing it. They always welcome new members and are on the lookout for new players.
The 1st XI of Bayford & Hertford Nondescripts currently competes in the Saracens Hertfordshire Cricket League Division 4b, under the captaincy of Ricky Ketteridge. The 2nd XI, led by Ben Wilson, competes in the Saracens Hertfordshire Cricket League Division 11 C.
The club has also achieved notable successes in the past, such as winning trophies in the 2017 season and breaking records in the 2018 season with their 2nd XI. The club takes pride in its players' achievements and provides a platform to recognise their performances in batting, bowling, and fielding through their club records.
