After spending years in healthcare and witnessing the impact of chronic conditions on people's lives, she realised the importance of physical fitness and the positive effects it can have on overall well-being. This epiphany led her to pursue certifications in Personal Training and Group Exercise Instruction, as well as specialised training in fitness for older adults. In 2015, Debbie established BayFit, purchasing a fitness business within the renowned Horizons' Golf Resort.

With a passion for golf and a desire to promote fitness as we age, she also became a certified Titleist Performance Institute Golf Fitness Instructor.
