Over the years, it has produced notable golfers such as Eric Brown and Bernard Gallacher, who both went on to become Ryder Cup captains. Stephen Gallacher, another talented player, also represented his country and Europe in various competitions, including the 2014 Ryder Cup at Gleneagles.

The club offers a range of golf membership options, including discounts for juniors, students, young adults up to age 30, and seniors. There are no joining fees, making it an affordable option for those looking to join. Additionally, 5-day memberships and twilight memberships are available to cater to different preferences and schedules.
