The Barton-on-Sea Golf Club is excited to announce the upcoming Men's Autumn Open, scheduled to take place on Saturday, 31st August. This highly anticipated event will be held at our esteemed Becton/Needles Tee White Stableford H'cap 85%.
To ensure fair play, all participants must be members of an EGU affiliated club and possess a WHS Handicap. We regret to inform our friends from the England Golf Independent Golfer scheme that they are not eligible to enter. However, for those who meet the requirements, there will be some exciting prizes up for grabs! The top five players will receive recognition, along with two nearest the pin prizes. Winners must join us for the prize presentation in order to collect their well-deserved rewards.
Arriving participants will be greeted with the delightful combination of Coffee and Bacon rolls, setting the tone for an enjoyable day ahead. As for the main course, guests will have a choice between a mouthwatering Tarragon & Garlic Stuffed Chicken Breast, wrapped in bacon and served with scrumptious seasonal vegetables & potatoes, or a delectable Nut Roast complemented by equally delightful seasonal vegetables & potatoes. And don't worry, we've saved the best for last – a mouthwatering Sticky Toffee sponge pudding accompanied by creamy Vanilla Ice cream will be served for dessert. To complete the gastronomic experience, participants can help themselves to Coffee & Mints.

We would also like to remind everyone that the dress code for our restaurant is Smart Casual, so please come dressed accordingly to enjoy the event to its fullest.
For those who require transportation during the event, buggies can be pre-ordered from our pro-shop by calling 01425 615308 (option 1). Please note that once entries are confirmed, no refunds will be made, but substitutes are allowed.
To ensure your spot in this exciting event, we kindly ask that you submit your entries by Monday, 29th July 2024. Start sheets will be emailed to all participants four weeks prior to the event, allowing everyone ample time to prepare and look forward to a day of friendly competition and camaraderie.
