Bart's Bash

Join Queen Mary Sailing Club for Bart's Bash, the largest sailing race in the world. This event honours the memory of Andrew 'Bart' Simpson, a talented Olympic medallist whose legacy continues to inspire sailors worldwide. Set to take place on 14th and 15th September 2024, Bart's Bash is a fantastic opportunity to be part of something truly special while raising funds for the Andrew Simpson Foundation.

Since its inception in 2014, Bart's Bash has united sailors from over 1000 venues across 60 countries, with a staggering 70,000 participants taking to the water in support of a great cause. Queen Mary Sailing Club is proud to be hosting this prestigious event, and we invite all sailing enthusiasts to join us on the water as we race in memory of Bart.

In addition to participating in the race, sailors can also contribute by making a donation to the Andrew Simpson Foundation. Whether you're a seasoned sailor or new to the sport, Bart's Bash offers a unique opportunity to connect with the global sailing community and make a difference.
