Welcome to Bangalow Martial Arts! We are a Hapkido-Hapkiyusul club located in the beautiful town of Bangalow, Australia. Our mission is to improve the health, well-being, and self-confidence of our members through the practise of traditional martial arts.
At Bangalow Martial Arts, we believe in the power of the mind-body connexion. Through the practise of Hapkido (Way of Focused Ki), we aim to align the body, mind, and spirit, resulting in improved physical and mental health, balance, and focus. Hapkido is not just a martial art; it is a way of life that encompasses meditation, breathing techniques, and movement to enhance overall well-being.
Our club is open to men and women of all ages and fitness levels. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced martial artist, our friendly and inclusive environment will make you feel welcome. We offer a variety of classes that focus on hand techniques, foot techniques, self-defence, and partner exercises.
Safety is our priority at Bangalow Martial Arts. Our experienced instructors provide guidance and support to ensure that all members can train at their own pace while still maximising their potential. We believe in fostering a sense of respect and camaraderie among our members, creating a positive training atmosphere.
Joining our club not only benefits your physical well-being, but it also builds confidence and self-defence skills. Our training values of truth, honesty, love, and perseverance guide our teachings and help instil discipline and resilience in our members.
You can find us at the RSL Hall on 17 Station Street in Bangalow. We offer training sessions on Monday and Wednesday mornings from 7:00am to 8:30am, as well as on Saturday mornings.
