The chief instructor of Banbury Shukokai Karate Club is Sensei Malcolm Hudson, an 8th Dan Black Belt and former two-weight world karate champion. Sensei Hudson brings decades of knowledge and coaching skills to the club, ensuring that students receive top-notch instruction. All instructors at the club are highly qualified and have undergone DBS checks and first aid training, ensuring the safety of all students.
The curriculum at Banbury Shukokai Karate Club emphasises correct schooling, self-defence proficiency, structured classes, recognised grades, and enhanced physical fitness. The style of karate taught at Banbury Shukokai Karate Club is Shukokai, which is derived from the original Shito Ryu style of karate. Developed by Sensei Kimura over forty years, Shukokai focuses on using the body's largest muscles to generate power and speed in techniques. Students learn to attack with devastating force while maintaining control and practising safe training methods.
