Rivire School of Dance, a local Contemporary Dance club in Hallam, is excited to promote an upcoming dance event at Back Hallam Camberwell Mums and Bubs Hallam. Located at 118-126 Frawley Road, Hallam, Vic 3803, this dance studio offers classes for dancers of all ages and abilities.
With a maximum of 15 students per class, dancers receive individual attention and guidance to enhance their skills. The fees for the classes are affordable, ranging from $9.50 for a 20-minute class to $14 for a 60-minute class. Additionally, there is a small enrolment fee of $20. Term fees and a 5% discount for families can be discussed upon inquiry.
The weekly timetable at the studio is filled with a variety of classes for different age groups. On Tuesdays, dancers can enjoy jazz, seniors' pointe, lyrical/contemporary, ballet, and tap classes. Wednesdays offer jazz, junior ballet, and tap classes. Fridays feature musical theatre, junior/inter jazz/acro, tap, and ballet/lyrical classes. And on Saturdays, advanced acro, jazz young stars, ballet young stars, and tap young stars classes are available.
At Rivire School of Dance, you can explore various dance styles, including ballet, lyrical/contemporary, tap, jazz, and musical theatre. Ballet, being the foundation of artistic dance, focuses on technical precision through barre, centre, and travelling work. Lyrical and contemporary classes combine ballet and jazz techniques to express personal emotions and passions through movement. Tap is a challenging yet rewarding style that requires coordination and rhythm. Jazz classes are upbeat and fun, teaching fundamental jazz steps and incorporating hip hop moves and contemporary music. And finally, musical theatre classes bring together singing, acting, and dancing for an entertaining experience.
For the little ones aged 3-4, the studio provides a Tiny Tots Jazz/Ballet class. This class introduces them to the basics of ballet, jazz, and creative movement. The aim is to foster creativity, freedom, and self-expression while building self-confidence.
