Azure Theatre School

Jake wanted to share a quick message about what Azure Theatre School has in store for everyone. He runs Azure with a simple mission: to make dance and performance fun and accessible for all kids, no matter their level. At Azure, they follow the Imperial Classical Ballet syllabus, giving students a chance to take exams with the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (ISTD).

Jake's got loads of other classes to keep kids engaged. There's Acro, which combines dance with flips and tricks to build strength and coordination. Tap classes let students create rhythms with their feet, and they can also take exams if they're up for it. Modern dance takes inspiration from different styles like ballet and jazz. And of course, there's Jazz, which is always lively and allows students to perform in showcases and competitions.

Musical Theatre is another big hit. Kids can sing, act, and dance, learning routines from various musicals. Street Dance classes focus on hip-hop styles and freestyle moves, perfect for those who want to get into the groove of urban dance.

For those doing GCSEs, Jake’s got special dance and drama classes to help students ace their exams. Singing lessons are tailored to individual needs, letting students pick up vocal techniques while preparing for performances.

Creative Drama classes are perfect for kids who love to express themselves. Through storytelling and drama games, students can build confidence and communication skills.

Jake is proud of his team of highly qualified and experienced teachers. They’re all certified with ISTD, RAD, and IDTA, and they're passionate about nurturing young talent in a fun and professional way.
