Welcome to Avery Football Club, a youth football club located in Oldbury, New Zealand. Founded in 2020, our club aims to bring the joy of youth football to the local community and provide children with the best football experience possible.
Currently, Avery Football Club consists of 10 youth teams ranging from under 8's to under 16's. These teams compete in both the Stourbridge League and the Central Warwickshire League, showcasing our commitment to excellence and providing opportunities for players of all ages to develop and thrive in the sport they love.
We are proud to announce that Avery FC Under 16's recently achieved great success, winning the Division 2 title in the previous season. They are now playing in Division 1 of the Stourbridge District Youth League on Sundays. Led by their dedicated manager, Simon Waterhouse, and supported by coaches Mark Bowen and Jordan Bentley, the team continues to strive for greatness and foster a positive environment for growth and development.
In the Central Warwickshire League, our Avery FC Under 16's (CWYFL) team has also excelled, becoming the top League Champions and Open Cup Winners in the 2022/23 season. They are currently competing in the premier Division and continue to showcase their skills and passion for the game under the guidance of manager Roy Attwood and coach Simon Williams.
Avery FC Colts Under 15's, led by coaches Nicky Robinson, Karl Niblett, and manager Wayne Meek, are also making strides in their division. They provide a nurturing environment for young players to enhance their football abilities and compete at a high level.
Our Avery FC Lions Under 15's team, managed by David Browne and coached by Keiran Willetts and Steve Fairclough, were crowned champions of Division 3 in the previous season. They are now challenging themselves in Division 2 of the Stourbridge District Youth League and continue to grow together as a team.
We are also thrilled to announce the addition of an Under 9's Girls team within the club, further expanding our commitment to inclusivity and providing opportunities for young girls to participate in football.
