Lineu received his black belt in 2015 after a decade of training in Bahia, Brazil. He is a registered secondary school teacher in Queensland with a Master's Degree and years of classroom experience. Lineu is a decorated competitor, with titles such as the 2019 Pan Pacific Black Belt Light Weight Masters 1 Gi and No-Gi Champion and Bronze medallist at the 2019 ADCC Gold Coast.

In addition to Lineu, the school is supported by assistant instructor Professor Alan Brandao, a Brazilian Black Belt with over a decade of experience in Jiu Jitsu. Alan is a current Australian national champion and holds the number 2 position on the 2021 Australian ranking.

Atos Jiu Jitsu Townsville offers a comprehensive timetable of classes throughout the week to accommodate all skill levels. There are classes available for kids as young as 4 years old, as well as separate classes for juniors (10–15 years) and adults. Both gi and no-gi classes are available, catering to different training preferences.
