Biography
Sienna Hearn’s journey to the Paris 2024 Olympics is a testament to the power of friendship and teamwork. Growing up on Sydney’s picturesque northern beaches, Sienna was introduced to water polo by her friends, sparking a passion that has carried her to the national stage.
Joining the Sydney Northern Beaches Breakers Water Polo Club at just seven years old, Sienna’s dedication and skill quickly became evident. Her junior career was marked by impressive performances, culminating in her senior national team debut at the 2022 FINA World League Intercontinental Cup in Peru. Competing for the Aussie Stingers, she showcased her talent and determination.
Over the years, Sienna has shone in the Australian Water Polo League, playing for the UTS Balmain Tigers. Her hard work paid off as she earned a spot in the Stingers squad for the 2024 World Championships in Doha, where Australia secured a commendable sixth-place finish.
When she's not in the pool, Sienna is pursuing her goal of becoming a school teacher. Her story is one of perseverance, camaraderie, and a love for the game, making her a standout athlete on the road to Paris.
