Biography
Luke Pavillard has been a dedicated and influential force in water polo since picking up the sport at the age of 12. A native of Kalgoorlie, WA, Luke moved to Perth for his high school education and later journeyed to the United States, where he attended the University of the Pacific. There, he became a standout player for the Pacific Tigers, scoring an impressive 248 goals over his college career and receiving the Golden State Conference Player of the Year award twice between 2017 and 2019.
Returning to Australia in 2022, Luke rejoined the Aussie Sharks, marking his return with a silver medal at the 2022 FINA World League Intercontinental Cup. Over the following years, he has been a consistent presence in the national team, competing in the 2022, 2023, and anticipated 2024 World Aquatics Championships.
Currently, Luke plays professionally for CN Atletic-Barceloneta in Spain. His journey is a testament to his perseverance and passion for water polo, making him a key player to watch on the road to Paris 2024.
