Ky Willott is a rising star in the world of hockey, following in the footsteps of his illustrious family. Born in New Lambton Heights, NSW, Ky was practically raised on the hockey fields of Lake Macquarie, with both his grandfather, father, and brothers excelling in the sport. His dedication paid off early, as he enjoyed a standout junior career and received the prestigious Basil Sellers Scholarship at the 2019 Hockey NSW awards night. In domestic play, Ky showcases his talents with NSW Pride in the Hockey One league. His international breakthrough came in 2022 when he debuted for the Kookaburras, scoring his first goal against Malaysia. The following year, he continued to shine, netting four goals in FIH Pro League matches and playing a pivotal role in securing Australia's berth for the Paris Olympics with a crucial goal against New Zealand.
