Heather Bansley, the dynamic Canadian beach volleyball player, has captured the hearts of fans with her skill and determination on the sand. With a career spanning over a decade, Bansley has been a stalwart of the Canadian beach volleyball scene, forming successful partnerships and achieving remarkable milestones. Starting her journey in indoor volleyball, Bansley transitioned to beach volleyball after being introduced to it as summer training. This decision proved to be life-changing as she quickly rose through the ranks, representing Canada at various international competitions. Notable among her achievements is her partnership with Sarah Pavan, where they made history by winning Canada’s first-ever FIVB Major Series medal for women. Bansley’s tenacity and defensive prowess have earned her accolades, including the prestigious title of the 2015 FIVB World Tour Best Defensive Player.
