Born on August 13, 1998, Connor's journey in paddling began at the age of 12, but it was at 15 that he fully committed himself to the sport after being drawn to the waters more than the traditional off-season hockey training. His breakthrough moment came at the 2015 Olympic Hopefuls regatta in Poland, where his determination led to a remarkable fourth-place finish in the C-1 1000m, signaling his ability to compete at the highest level. Connor's passion and drive propelled him to subsequent successes, including medals at the Canada Games and setting national records alongside his partner Roland Varga.
