Ataru Shotokan Karate Club, situated in Shefford on the borders of Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire, is your go-to spot for top-notch Traditional and Practical Shotokan Karate. Led by the dedicated Sensei Jamie Thomson, a 4th Dan black belt, the club offers inspiring training sessions for everyone, from kids to adults.
Running since September 2003 and proudly affiliated with the prestigious Japan Karate Association (JKA), Ataru ensures high standards with the help of experienced black belt instructors like Tracii Thomson, Lee Zerafa, Mark Gainsford, and Andy Racher.
You can catch classes on Mondays at Meppershall Village Hall, starting with Kids Beginners to Orange Belts at 17:30. Thursdays are at Shillington Village Hall, beginning with Beginners to Green Belts at 18:30 for ages 12+. Higher grades can join the 19:30 sessions on both days.
