Association of Ki Aikido – London welcomes you to experience Ki Aikido in Hampstead. Founded in 1986, the club has been promoting this martial art for over 30 years. Sensei Charles Harris, with a 6th Dan black belt, has led the club since 1989.
Classes take place in our spacious Hampstead dojo. We offer a free trial lesson with no strings attached. Just email us to book your spot.
We're part of respected organisations like Aikido for Daily Life and the British Aikido Board, ensuring top-notch instruction. Our teaching team includes Sensei Charles Harris, Assistant Chief Instructor Jagdeep Shah (3rd Dan), and Mike Ford (2nd Dan).
We make Aikido accessible to everyone through the Albert Gross Bursary for those needing financial help. Plus, you can try a free class to see if Aikido is for you.
The club hosts regular Aikido events and has a rich gallery of Bokken and Jo Katas, adding to your Aikido journey. Stay updated with our blog, featuring self-defence tips, personal stories, and expert advice.
Follow us on social media or contact us via email or our website. Check our dojo timetable; Thursday sessions run from 7:30 pm to 9:00 pm.
Located near Finchley Road & Frognal Overground Station, our dojo is accessible by tube and several bus routes. Free parking is available nearby.
