About
Ashtaerial is a unique approach to Aerial Yoga in Toronto, inspired by the Eight Limbs of Yoga. Aerial Yoga involves using a fabric hammock to support poses, providing a deeper and more connected experience, with the added benefit of spinal decompression. The name “Ashtaerial” comes from a combination of the Sanskrit word “Ashta”, meaning Eight, and “Aerial”, referring to the hammock used in the practice.
Kaye Peaflor is the proud founder and lead instructor of Ashtaerial. She is a certified yoga teacher with a passion for helping others discover the benefits of yoga and mindfulness. Kaye's journey began with hot yoga, and she quickly expanded her expertise to include Aerial Yoga, pre-natal and post-natal yoga, acro yoga, and more. Kaye has a strong commitment to supporting causes she cares about, such as ending violence against women and girls.
Ashtaerial offers classes that cater to students of all levels, with a focus on mobility goals and overall wellness. Kaye's teaching style is infused with creativity and a strong emphasis on building a healthier relationship with one's body. Additionally, Ashtaerial offers the option to practice aerial yoga at home, work, or while travelling with their own Ashtaerial Yoga Package.
