Dance Scapes - Movement as Medicine with Rosie Perks is excited to present ASHES & BLOSSOM, a transformative Contemporary Dance workshop that delves into the depths of grief to find healing and growth. This workshop offers participants a chance to explore their own stories of heartbreak and discover the resilience that comes from embracing emotions through movement.
Participants in the workshop will engage with Movement Medicine practices and tools designed to help them connect with their grief in a safe and supportive environment. By dancing with Movement Medicine archetypes and Chambers of the Heart maps, participants will be able to resource themselves and nurture their own understanding of grief.
This workshop is a unique opportunity for members of the dance community to come together, learn from one another, and deepen their connection to the profound experiences that shape their lives. Based on Rosie's personal experiences and professional work, ASHES & BLOSSOM promises to be a rich and enlightening experience.
The workshop will take place from April 26th to April 28th, 2024, at Atheneum Deurne in Antwerp, Belgium. The cost of the workshop is €200, which includes the Friday evening session.
