Ashby Aztecs Basketball Club, founded in 1966 and based in Ashby De La Zouch, Leicestershire, offers a vibrant basketball experience in the Leicestershire and Rutland Basketball League. With three senior teams, both men and women compete at their best. Mini and Junior sessions are also available, guided by skilled coaches and referees.
Embodying the motto "Effort Brings Reward", Ashby Aztecs welcomes players of all ages and skill levels. Whether you’re a novice or a seasoned player, there’s a spot for you.
Training at Ashby School Sports Hall, the schedule caters to all: Minis (School Year 7 and under) on Mondays at 6:30pm, Juniors (School Years 8 to 11) on Wednesdays at 6:30pm, and Senior Mixed sessions on Mondays and Wednesdays from 7:45pm to 9:30pm.
Membership is straightforward with affordable nightly fees: £3 for Minis and Juniors, £4 for Seniors. Discounts are available for siblings and upfront payments, and Junior members in senior teams get reduced rates.
Safety is a priority, with measures in place as per government and Basketball England guidelines. Hand sanitisers and cleaning gear are provided, ensuring a safe environment for everyone.
