Arrowgone Archers proudly offers Archery Australia's Come 'n Try program. Arrowgone Archers' Come 'n Try sessions are run several times weekly and cater to a variety of groups. They're the perfect fit for any beginner — of any age and capability — wanting to find out if archery is the sport for them!
Sessions run for approximately two hours and cost £20 per person. You'll be guided every step of the way, from your first shot at 10 meters to your first 'bullseye' at 70 meters, by our professional coaching team. Don't worry about equipment; the price includes all equipment hire for a bow, arrows, and protective gear. So you just need to bring yourself and a willingness to give archery a shot!
To make sure you have a great experience, we kindly request all attendees to wear enclosed shoes and be sun-smart by wearing hats, bringing drink bottles, and applying sunscreen. Safety is our top priority, and we want everyone to stay protected while enjoying the sport.
The minimum age required to participate is 7, so it's a fantastic opportunity for children to try their hand at archery too. If you're coming as a group with both new and experienced members, we have a separate booking option available to ensure everyone has a fulfilling session. And if you have a larger group, we also offer private sessions that can be booked.
You can find Arrowgone Archers located in the Gerrard Street Reserve, West Moonah. Access is possible through a gate on Highfield Street by car or by walking up the hill from the carpark at the base of Gerrard Street, off Creek Road. Please note that during winter or after heavy rain, it is not recommended to drive down into the range unless in a 4WD. But no worries, there's alternative parking available at the carpark at the bottom of the hill.
For more information, please don't hesitate to contact Arrowgone Archers or check their website. They'll be more than happy to answer any questions you may have.
