Arklow Dance Studios

Arklow Dance Studios, under the direction of Frances Ryan, is a well-established dance school located in Arklow. Since 1994, the school has been fully registered with the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (ISTD) and offers a wide variety of dance classes for students of all ages and abilities.

The school operates from three twelve-week terms each year, running from September to June. Classes are available for children as young as 3 years old up to the professional level. Students have the opportunity to train in Classical Ballet, Modern Theatre Dance/Jazz, Tap, and Hip Hop.

Frances Ryan School of Dance has a strong track record of success, with a 100% pass rate in all examinations taken and the majority of students achieving Honours. Senior students are prepared for ISTD professional exams, giving them the option to pursue further studies in dance colleges or become professional dancers or teachers.

All teaching staff at Arklow Dance Studios are fully qualified and registered with the ISTD. They have undergone full-time training and have professional experience in the theatre as dancers and choreographers. The school prioritises maintaining the highest standard of teaching and ensures that all teachers attend continuous professional development courses to keep their work fresh and up to date.
