Ardlussa Equine is a horse riding school located in the beautiful Ardlussa area, just 10 minutes outside Riversdale, New Zealand. With a team of highly skilled and qualified instructors, Ardlussa Equine is dedicated to providing safe and practical equine experiences for the whole family.

In addition to riding lessons and camps, Ardlussa Equine also specialises in horse training and sales. The team utilises equitation science to apply equine learning theory to training, whether it be problem solving, competitive training, or developing young horses from the ground up. With qualified trainers, the school offers ship-in sessions, sale on behalf, and training on a case-by-case basis to help riders achieve their goals for their horses.

The dedicated team at Ardlussa Equine is made up of Jamie Meilach and Katie Sutherland. Jamie, a show jumper and dressage rider from Canada, brings 12 years of coaching experience and an honours degree in equine management to the school. Her extensive background in various equestrian disciplines allows her to help riders realise their individual goals and find what works best for each horse. Katie, a local Kiwi equine enthusiast, has 6 years of coaching experience and 10 years of experience producing, training, and selling horses.

With a strong passion for equine science-based training, Katie provides engaging and productive lessons to start new riders on their equestrian journey.
