Archery Lessons For Beginners is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who are interested in discovering the captivating sport of archery. Penrith City Archers Inc., a renowned archery club in Sydney, is organising this enlightening three-week program. The objective of the program is to provide participants with a comprehensive introduction to archery, focusing on proper technique and injury prevention. The lessons will be conducted in small groups, ensuring individualised attention and guidance.
Over the course of the program, participants will have the chance to grasp range commands, safely handle bows and arrows, and practice shooting under direct supervision. The first two sessions, each lasting 120 minutes, will involve training with expert instructors. The third session, also 120 minutes in duration, will allow participants to practice at their own pace while receiving valuable information about equipment setup and club membership.
Rest assured, all necessary equipment will be supplied. However, participants are more than welcome to bring their own gear if they prefer. Our experienced instructors will gladly offer advice on purchasing archery equipment tailored to individual needs.
The picturesque Troy Adams Archery Field will serve as the venue for Archery Lessons For Beginners. Nestled on Lot 31 Werrington Rd, Werrington NSW 2747, this breathtaking location offers the ideal setting for your archery journey. Participants can choose to attend sessions on either Saturday or Sunday, with the exact session start time to be confirmed. It is essential to book in advance to secure a spot.
The cost for this enlightening course is $135 per person. Before joining the beginners course, attendance at a mandatory Come & Try Archery session is required to acquire basic knowledge of range commands and safety practices. To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience, please remember to tie back hair, wear enclosed footwear, and opt for tight-fitting clothing. It is also advisable to bring a water bottle and sun protection.
Given the current Covid-19 situation, it is of utmost importance that participants refrain from attending the session if they display any symptoms or have been diagnosed with Covid-19. In such circumstances, please inform us as soon as possible, and alternate session dates will be arranged when it is safe to do so.
For those who have completed the beginners course and are club members, we offer coaching sessions every Saturday from 8-9 am. These sessions are specifically designed to help members enhance their shooting technique and gear setup, ultimately leading to a more enjoyable and competitive experience.
