Archery at Loughborough

Hockey at Loughborough is a thriving sport that welcomes players of all levels, whether you're a seasoned professional or a complete beginner. This local Hockey club is the perfect place to hone your skills and be a part of a vibrant and passionate community. The club offers top-notch facilities and has experienced coaches on hand to provide guidance and support. Membership is open to anyone who is enrolled at Loughborough University or Loughborough College. The club actively participates in various competitions, including a local league with eight universities, as well as the indoor and outdoor BUCS Championships and the British University Team Championships. With a team consisting of 80 dedicated and enthusiastic players, there's a place for everyone in this inclusive and close-knit community.

During the indoor season, which runs from October to the Easter break, the club holds four training sessions each week. Once the outdoor season begins after Easter, training sessions are available throughout the week. It's important to note that attendance at all sessions is not mandatory, giving players the flexibility to work around their schedules.

For those who are new to the sport, the club offers a three-week Beginner's Course comprising six lessons. This course is designed to teach participants the necessary techniques and help them develop their skills. It's a fantastic opportunity to try out different bow styles and even take part in a practice competition. Throughout the course, the club's coaches will be there to warmly welcome new members and offer any assistance needed.
