Arana Little Athletics

Arana Little Athletics is a vibrant sports club located in Brisbane, Australia, that offers a fun and engaging environment for children and families. The club aims to promote fitness, sportsmanship, and personal development through participation in the sport of athletics.

For new athletes who are interested in joining Arana Little Athletics, the club offers a FREE two-week trial period. This allows prospective members to experience the club's activities and determine if it is the right fit for them. The trial sessions can be attended on any night of competition, with a recommended arrival time of 5:30 pm on Fridays at Leslie Patrick Park in Arana Hills. No uniform is required during the trial period, and a parent or guardian must accompany the athlete.

Following the trial period, if athletes decide to join, they can register and pay online through the club's RegistrationHQ platform. Online payments are strongly encouraged, but cash, cheque, Visa, and Mastercard payments are also accepted. Returning athletes can also register online via RegistrationHQ. Proof of age is not required for returning members who have previously provided it.

Registration packs can be picked up at one of the sign-on sessions, and an express lane is available for online payments to expedite the process. It is essential for athletes to register online before attending sign-on day, as results will not be officially recorded without a current 2023/24 registration number attached to the uniform.

The registration fees for the 2023/24 season are as follows: Tiny Tots ($73), Under 6 ($110), Under 7 to Under 17 ($140, capped at $370 per family). These fees cover entry fees to Regional/State Relays and Regional/State Championships. Additional fees may apply for participation in LAQ (Winter, Spring, Summer & Combined carnival) and other centre's carnivals. In addition to the registration fees, there is a refundable fundraising bond ($30) and a family bond ($50).

Athletes also have the option of purchasing a compulsory uniform shirt, which costs $35. Crop tops and singlets are available as optional alternatives for all age groups.
